PASIGHAT, Dec 18: The Ngorlung Baptist Church under Adi Baptist Union (ABU) in Ngorlung village near Ruksin Sub-Division, some 34 KM from here which was established way back in 1967 observed its Golden Jubilee cum Church dedication on construction of a beautiful Church on Sunday.

The Golden Jubilee cum Church dedication programme was also attended by Lok Sabha MP, Ninong Ering as Chief Guest, MLA 37^th Pasighat West cum HPS for Agri. & Fisheries, Er. Tatung Jamoh as Guest of Honour while ADC Ruksin, T. Pada and ZPM Ruksin, Tonggeng Panyang graced as Special Guests.

The remarkable day was also attended by other fellow Churches and its members from all around the district who came to see the beautiful Church which was established way back in 1967 by pioneers Late Omu Mesar, Late Aju Panyang, Late Boyi Panyang, Late Anggom Aje, Topa Taying and Lejung Panyang with the help of Late Dana Larson, an American Missionary (BGC) who came to Baligaon, Gogamukh (Assam) and spread the message of God, quoted Opang Taying in his message in a Souvenir released on the day.

In their messages, Ninong Ering and Er. Tatung Jamoh appealed the Church people to spread the message of God for communal harmony, peaceful co-existence of all religion etc.
