MALIGAON, Oct 31:The Birth Anniversary of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel was observed today as the Rashtriya Ekta Diwas (National Unity Day) in a befitting manner throughout NF Railway.

To commemorate the occasion, a pledge was administered to all officers and staff by General Manager, NF Railway Chahatey Ram. Also a ‘Run for Unity’ was flagged off by him from Headquarters Maligaon early in the morning today which was joined among others by many high ranking officials of the Railway. The run ended at Kamakhya Railway station with floral tributes to the portrait of Sardar Patel.

Similar programme was also held in all Divisions of NF Railway where Divisional Railway Manager of the Division administered the pledge to officers and staff and led the run for unity.
