ITANAGAR, Jul 17:  The Nyishi Elite Society conducted its XIVth  Annual Academic and Professional Achievers Award-2018 at Dera Natung Government  College, Auditorium, Itanagar on Monday last.

 President, NES,  Bengia Tolum felicitated Epi Kapu, the first Nyishi to crack the Arunachal Pradesh Judicial Service Examination in 2018 (JFMC), Captain Toko Takar, the first Pilot from the Nyishi community inducted into Air India and the young budding scientist of national and international repute, Tadar Anang-the inventor of Goggle for Blind (G4B) technology were awarded under NES-Professional Achievers Award-2018.

NES also felicitated  toppers of AISSE-2018 (Class-X) Debia Angel Yeam   who secured  94.40%,  Tadar Parte ( 93.20%), Gyamar Lenin and  Taba Opu  ( 93%).  Each were felicitated  as  first, second and third topper respectively. In AISSCE-2018 (Class-XII),  Bengia Yanya with 94.80%,  Tadar Ame with 92.80% and Jasmine Cheda-88.20% were felicitated as  first, second and third topper respectively in Science stream. In Commerce stream, Bem Yajik with (94.80%)Radhe Yangfo (87.00%) and  in Humanities stream,  Kakum Bengia  ( 98.00%),  Romik Sai  ( 93.80%) and  Nangbia Juli  (93.60%)  were felicitated as the first, second and third topper respectively. 

Meanwhile, the society also felicitated   the achievers of  NEET (Medical)  Likha Yama ,Yowa Uma ,Tochak Babla and for JEE (Advance), Bengia Yanya,  Gyamar Punung, Likha Katho were felicitated.

The senior members of the community like former Chief Minister Nabam Tuki, Minister, RWD, IPR & Printing- Bamang Felix, Parliamentary Secretary Mama Natung, senior leaders Dr. Joram Begi, and others attended the programme .
