PANGIN, Oct 21:

Local MLA of Pangin-Boleng Assembly Constituency and former Cabinet Minister, Tapang Taloh laid thefoundation stone of Model Village Mopit to be developed under the state flagship programme, CM Adarsh Gram Yojana (CMAY) on

October 20 last.

Later addressing a large gathering, Taloh stressed on maintaining quality in the implementation process and asked the stakeholders including the village authority to ensure utmost quality to achieve
the true status of a Model Village.

 

Taloh informed that the state government has launched the Adarsh Gram Yojana for inclusive growth of the rural community to be developed under the fiscal year 2017-18  as “ Model Village” in
each district in tune with the central government’s effort for inclusive growth.

He reiterated in following all the laid down guidelines for creating infrastructure and amenities for the Model Village like solar lights, water supply, housing for bpl, village ring road etc, where
besides the earmarked fund under CMAGY, all the departments of the district need to take up convergence activities with stress on convergence CSS, MLAD and other convergence schemes.

 

The MLA also advocated to adopt and use housing
materials and CGI for pucca housing on account of durability and time and energy saving while speaking on taking up concrete steps in the
matter.

 

Earlier,President and General Secretary of Nugong Banngo Kebang ,Tapun Taki and Ojing Pajing respectively, also  referred  to the proactive
initiative taken up the MLA for the all-round development of Nugong area and the district in general.
