ITANAGAR, Jul 20: Alleging that relatives of a few ministers, parliamentary secretaries, MLAs, chairmen, including top government officials misuse government vehicles to meet their personnel needs, the Arunachal Pradesh Contractors Association (AACWA) urged the concerned authority to conduct surprise raids to check such misuse of government property and punish defaulters.
“It is a known fact that in other states misuse of government vehicles is an offence and punishable under law but in our state such things are a common trend now” alleged AACWA in a release this evening.
