ITANAGAR, Aug 8: After a gap of almost five years, Miles Acres under the banner of Arunachal Guild for Cultural Integration (AGCI) is once again coming up with its prestigious beauty pageant “Miss Arunachal -X edition'.

Speaking to reporters, Assistant Secretary of the event, Bengia Nachong informed that since last one decade AGCI is organizing the event, however due to some unavoidable circumstances there was a gap of five years after 2012.

He further claimed that the pageant under the AGCI is a trusted event and has broad platforms for the winner as it is a government aided event.‘To encourage girls empowerment from the backward tribes of Arunachal, this time we are giving direct entry to a girl from Naah, Puroik, Lishu and others,’ added Nachong.

‘The education qualification should be 10+2 with minimum height of 5.2, however the organizer will prefer 5.5 and above for audition,’ informed Organizing Secretary Kipa Niba. He also added that the audition will be held in almost all the district headquarters of the state starting from September 8 at Bomdila.
