DCM reviews hydropower projects to strengthen state energy roadmap
ITANAGAR, Dec 8: In a representation addressed to Minister, Civil Supplies & Rural Works Department(RWD), the All Arunachal Pradesh Anti Corruption Students Union has urged him to suspend the notice inviting tender (NIT) notified on November 20 last for appointment of PDS wholesale nominee-cum Carriage contractor at Seppa. Justifying its demands, the union alleged that the NIT was published after the model code of conduct (MCC) for bye election was imposed in the district and stated that "It would be unfair to conduct the tender process at a time when people are busy in election campaign.” Further accusing the concern DC for violating (MCC), it requested the Minister to pass necessary direction to DC Seppa to suspend the tender and re-conduct it after the election in a fair and competitive manner.
