 ITANAGAR, Nov 29: Education Minister, Honchun Ngandam accompanied by Parliamentary Secretary Education, Pani Taram on Wednesday reviewed various activities and functions of the education department with the department officials. 

Ngandam appreciated the officers for their effort and urged them to work with more dedication and sincerity. 

During the meeting the recently concluded national achievement survey across schools of the state was also discussed in detail along with the present status of rationalization of teachers. 

Programme of model school, implementation of smart classroom, text book supply, progress of Aadhaar enrolment of student and other related issues were also reviewed. 

The meeting was attended by Secretary Education, Bidol Tayeng, Special secretary and all the directors of education department including DDSEs of the districts. 

Earlier, footage of the function, wherein Arunachal bagged the Best Performing State Award in education sector under small state category by India Today Group was screened before the officers.
