NIRJULI, Jan 16: With a motive to unify all the Abotani communities of the state, All Arunachal Abo Tani Association organized its 3rd Mega Abo Tani Festival at Nirjuli.

Former Joint Director Art & Culture Department J Siram and Tongam Jamoh President APTA attended the fest as chief guest and guest of honour respectively.

Addressing the gathering, Siram appreciated the AAATA for organizing such event to preserve the age old tradition and culture. He also urged the members to make proper survey and documentation of mythology of all the Abo Tani clans.

While elaborating the motive of festival, Organizing Secretary Nabam Tagar opined that after overwhelming response, AAATA decided to organize its third edition with a motive to unify all the descendent of Abo Tani communities of Arunachal.

In the three day event, there will be traditional cultural events, sports and food festival, he added.
