ITANAGAR, Sep 8:A three-day training programme for 16 Manual Assistants organized by Department of Legal Metrology & Consumer Affairs concluded here at its conference hall, Naharlagun today.

Hoktum Ori, Controller Legal Metrology & CA, in his address during the valedictory function urged participating Manual Assistants to perform their assigned works with renewed vigour in respective places so as to upgrade the activities of the Department in line with computerization of modern world.

On appeal made by the participating trainees, Controller agreed to provide duty uniform at least once in two years.

 As the resource person, KP Tago, ACLM highlighted various provisions of Consumer Protection Act, 1986 as well as sealing and verification procedures of weighing or measuring instruments while Taba Tabin, ACLM briefed pertaining to account matters.
