KHONSA, Nov 9:A total of 647 patients both male, female and children patients benefitted from a three  day long outreach “Free Medical Health Camp” conducted in  remote areas of Katang, Chasa and Lazu under Tezu recently.

While appreciating the noble move, DC PK Thungon urged the people of Lazu in particular and Tirap District to lead hygienic life and use boiled water for drinking purpose to evade water borne diseases.

He further advised locals to stay away from Opium and alcohol.

The organizers also distributed LED bulbs to village beneficiaries of Katang and Lazu. The camp was organized by Care me home welfare society, in collaboration with Arunachal Vikash Parishad, NERCORMP, Tirap and the District Administration.
