ITANAGAR, Jan 22:Established local electronic channel “Arunachal News 24x7” on Monday formally launched its official website, which was inaugurated by Arunachal Pradesh Union of working journalist president (APUWJ), Amar Sangno in presence of media persons and well wishers.

“The website www Arunachal News 24x7, developed by website developer, N Richo, will contain clips of live events, including live news coverage and much more,” informed Sapna Tayem while unveiling the new website before reporters.

Sharing the three years long journey of the media channel, Sapna said that her channel, since its launch in 2015 back strived to serve the people of the state by providing them with accurate and substantial news.

She said the objective behind launching the website was to reach out to more people and communicate with them closely on various issues concerning welfare and development.

In his address, APUWJ, President, Amar Sangno termed the effort as a ‘major step’ and pointed that electronic media is now growing fast in the state and catching up with print media.

Underscoring that a total of 64 working journalists from the state are presently registered with the Indian Journalists' Union (IJU), he said ‘The state’s media today is full of young and talented journalists who are doing an outstanding job.’ 

Reminding that media houses have to play constructive role in the development of  society, he urged the team Itanagar News 24x7 to stay focused in carrying out their objective.
