KHONSA, Sep 3:Two legal services clinics were opened at Khonsa on Saturday, one located in the court complex of the Judicial Magistrate First Class, Khonsa  and the other in the sub-jail.

The formal inauguration was done by Member Secretary, Arunachal Pradesh State Legal Services Authority, Budi Habung. During the inauguration of the legal aid clinic at Khonsa jail, an awareness camp with legal counselling was provided to 64 jail inmates.

Later in the day, an orientation cum induction training for nearly 20  legal aid counsels and Para legal volunteers was held under the aegis of the DLSA, Khonsa. The NALSA videos on various activities were screened for the participants and later on certificates were also distributed.
