ITANAGAR, Jul 17: Parliamentary Secretary, Urban Development, Housing and Town Planning, Techi Kaso along with the Deputy Commissioner, Capital Complex , Prince Dhawan inaugurated the school building and the upgradation from Secondary to Higher Secondary School at Govt. Higher Secondary School, Ganga on Monday.
Kaso said that a Higher Secondary School in the area was a priority as there is no HSS nearby. He hoped that with the upgradation of the school, the students will not have to walk far to other HSSs. He urged the students to study hard and fulfil the dreams of their parents who sacrifice a lot for the sake of their children.
The DC stressed on the need to improve the overall education scenario. He urged the students to work hard to go ahead in life. He further urged that education should be the priority of students as education will take them ahead in life.
He also informed that under Chief Minister's Samast Shiksha Yojana, the basic requirements of the school like desk, benches, repair and maintenance of the school, electrification, etc would be taken care of. He however reiterated that it's not the infrastructure but the will that will take students ahead in life.
The MLA along with the DC, DDSE and ASM also took stock of the condition of the school.
