TEZU, Aug 18:Karma Leki, APCS 1993 Batch has joined as Deputy Commissioner Lohit District, here today. A small introductory meet was organized in DC Conference Hall with all the HoDs present in the meeting where the outgoing Deputy Commissioner Danish Ashraf along with the new Deputy Commissioner also launched DASH, a Mobile App.

DASH (District’s Assessment of School and Health) Lohit is Lohit District’s Assessment of Schools and Healthcare system on Mobile platform for day-to-day monitoring and information management. The system utilizes the cellular network to link the remote schools and healthcare centres in Lohit District. It comprises of individual Apps for School and Healthcare Centres. A central server integrates the real-time data received from the field.

The project software was developed under the support of Danish Ashraf by NIC Tezu and management consultant.

Later, Karma Leki called upon all the Branch Officers and Admin Officers of Tezu under the establishment of Deputy Commissioner’s Office in his Office Chamber for a brief discussion on the workings of concerned departments.

He sought cooperation and support from them and work as a Team in all walks of development in the district.

SDO Gautam Hazarika, EACs, CO, District Information & Public Relation Officer, District Disaster Management Officer, District Planning Officer, NIC representatives, AMDO, Superintendent Tax & Excise were present.

He will take up simultaneous meetings on priority basis to take stock of all the programmes and policies with other departments and central establishments in Tezu in ensuing days.

Meanwhile, outgoing Deputy Commissioner Danish Ashraf while welcoming his successor described his stay  in Tezu as pleasurable and memorable. He hoped that Lohit District under the new Deputy Commissioner will touch new heights of development.
