ITANAGAR, Aug 18: Parliamentary Secretary for Sports & Youth Affairs Nyamar Karbak has called upon the people of his constituency to cooperate with the state government particularly concerned departments engaged in various schemes for all round developmental area for general.

Karbak, who is also the local MLA of area, was addressing the public during an inauguration programme of ‘Welcome’ gate at Darak circle.

Funded under SIDF 2016-17, the project was executed through RWD, Aalo Division with an amount of Rs 20 lakh.

Karbak appreciated the executing agency and contractors for timely completion of the project while maintaining the quality of work. He said that the newly inaugurated ‘Welcome’ gate will add more beauty to the circle headquarters and urged the public to maintain the same.

Inauguration programme was attended by ADC Kamba Swetika Sachan, CO Darak S E Borang, AE RWD Monga Yomgam, Rujum Raksap ADC Yomcha, PRIs and public of Darak circle.

Soon after the inauguration programme, Parliamentary Secretary along with PRI leaders and officials visited the proposed site for construction of badminton court which is sanctioned under SIDF 2016-17.

Karbak also visited the steel bridge connecting Darak administrative circle with Kamba and district headquarters Aalo which is lying in dilapidated condition and already declared unfit for vehicular movement by the administration.

MLA assured to take up the matter at state government level for construction of new RCC Bridge at the earliest.
