PASIGHAT, Sep 6: Playing in the 3^rd Quarter Final of Pasighat Central Solung Festival Celebration Football Tournament here at JNC playground today, the Jonai Football Club from Assam defeated the Monggu Banggo Football Club (MBFC) from Mebo Sub-Division by a margin of 2-1 goals.

Jonai FC’s first goal came in 40” by Kaurav Sonowal, while MBFC had equalized that in 44” by Toko Lego. Both the team couldn’t hit any goal till 84” when Jonai FC’s Prafulla Kuli managed to hit a net penetrating the MBFC’s equally strong defense. Opportunities came for MBFC also, but missed to channelize that as goal and exit from the tournament, while Jonai FC reached Semi Final.

In tomorrow’s 4^th Quarter Final match, Jawaharlal Nehru College, Hilltop team will lock horn with Ledum-Mikong-Bilat Teenagers (LMB-T).
