ITANAGAR, Jan 21: Reaching out to the fire affected families, Itanagar Market Welfare Association (IMWA) led by its President Yumlam Achung donated relief items and monetary assistance to people who lost their homes and properties in the devastating inferno at Romi Colony, Itanagar on January 19 last.
Expressing grief over the unfortunate incident, Achung urged the people to be more cautious about fire and other things which are potentially dangerous. Moreover, he also urged the Power department to create awareness on do’s and don’t’s to avoid such incidents.
On January 19 last, at least 30 families were rendered homeless in a fire accident at Romi colony at P-sector, Itanagar.
