BOMDILA, Sep 27:
Hundreds took part in a candle light vigil in memory of student late Toko Yame, on Wednesday evening at Bomdila which was organized under the banner of Students' United Movement of All Arunachal (SUMAA) in collaboration with All West Kameng Students' Union, All Sajolang Students' Union, Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha West Kameng District Unit and Kameng Youth Organization.
Addressing the rally, President SUMAA West Kameng District unit, Sonal Desisaw demanded strict action against the perpetrators and sought CBI enquiry for free and fair investigation into the case.
General Secretary, Tarun Dajangju in his address urged to maintain peace in the area and not to give the case a communal or political color in social networking sites.
Demanding early arrest of the culprit, Acting President, Steven Jebel Sichisow sought support from the victim’s family and asked the state government to hand over the case to CBI for impartial enquiry to give immediate justice to the aggrieved family.
