ITANAGAR, Jun 3: The 2nd Garhwal Rifles of Indian Army in collaboration with Community Health Center, Jang and Jang Sports Club conducted a free medical camp at Mago, one of the remotest locations of Tawang District.
At least 229 persons including children benefitted from the camp.
Besides, the team also organized an awareness campaign on various high altitude illnesses for the villagers through an audio visual lecture in local language.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Rinchin Neema, CMO Jang who led the team appreciated the effort of the Indian Army for organizing the camp for villagers residing above 12000 feet enduring inhospitable climatic conditions.
