ITANAGAR, Jul 25: To bridge the gap between public and the government, the state government will introduce ‘Sarkaar Aapke Duwar’ an initiative where all the departments will hold administrative camps in cluster of villages to cover the entire state in next 4 months. This will ensure on the spot delivery of services. Apart from that, CM Dashboard has been created to monitor all the PM/CM flagship schemes running in the state, informed Minister for RWD cum Government Spokesperson
While presenting the two-year report card of the state government under Pema Khandu’s regime, Felix added ‘from day one, our government has been focusing on transparency to ensure that the benefit of government schemes reaches the last man standing. There are at least 60 Prime Minister Flagship schemes and 9 Chief Minister Flagship schemes in the state, he informed.
Briefing more on the schemes of the government, he added. “Under Saubhagya scheme we will provide electrification to 44806 un-electrified households by December 31, 2018. While 39376 will be on –grid connections, 5430 will be off-grid and with the completion of this project, state will achieve 100 per cent rural electrification.”
While responding to a question on Panchayat elections, Felix added: “We are aware of the High Court directive and accordingly alerted the Panchayati Raj department to expedite the process. However, we are yet to get the final verdict order of the court. Moreover, shifting from the 3-tier system to 2-tier is massive and time consuming as delimitation process, voters’ enrollment, etc. are to be taken up afresh. As and when this process is completed, we will hold the elections even if it may be before the court’s mentioned date.”
When asked about joining of 7 sitting MLAs from Peoples Party of Arunachal (PPA) to National People’s Party (NPP) and their alliance with the BJP, Felix said we have only heard the news from the media and there is no official communication neither from the NPP headquarters nor NEDA headquarters including the acceptance of their merger by the State Assembly Secretariat.
