ITANAGAR, Oct 30:Home Minister Kumar Waii called on the Governor BD Mishra at Raj Bhavan today and discussed the overall law and order situation and other security related issues of the state.

Emphasising on establishment of sanctioned police stations, he also discussed the recruitment drive for police personnel to meet the shortage of police personnel.

Suggesting on utilizing the services of Ex –Servicemen, the Governor also stressed on the need of giving reasonable job opportunity to the members of Special Service Bureau on lines of the suggestions made in this regard vide Joint Secretary of Home Ministry DO No. 2/75/09/ITVs/Pers-III Dared 3 January 2012.

Sharing his interactions with security officials, the Governor stressed on improvement of professional knowledge and technical proficiency of police personnel including their musketry training, deployed for the security duties in various sensitive locations.
