ITANAGAR, Jan 5: Governor BD Mishra reviewed the preparations for pre-recruitment trainings in various districts with the District Administrative Officers through video conferencing from Raj Bhavan today. Facilitated by National Informatics Centre, Arunachal Pradesh, this was the second videoconferencing of the Governor with District Officials.
The Governor emphasized on maximum awareness amongst the abled youth of the State about the pre-recruitment trainings, which is being conducted by the Indian Army. For providing opportunity to more and more youth of Arunachal Pradesh to enable them to join the Indian Armed forces, the Governor had requested the Chief of Army Staff (COAS) who agreed to conduct such rallies in all the districts of the State.
The Governor also emphasized that re-employment opportunities for the Ex-Servicemen, employment and other benefits for them, benefits for the Vir Naris and their families must be made known amongst the targeted people, i.e. ex-servicemen and their families.
During the interaction, the Governor advised the district officials to ensure that flagship programme of Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Gram Jyoti Yojana is implemented in letter and spirit.
