ITANAGAR, Dec 31:Chief Minister Pema Khandu has extended warm New Year greetings to the people of the state and called for burying all differences and surge ahead as one unit – Team Arunachal.

He appealed one and all to fill the 365 blank pages of 2018 with things that were missed in the bygone year like the love missed to express, the commitment missed to implement and the work missed to complete.

Calling for honest New Year resolutions he urged all to set up clear cut goals and give their best to achieve them,“My goal – this year – is all set: To rededicate my heart and soul for development and welfare of each district, each community, each religion, each family and each individual of our beloved Arunachal Pradesh. The seeds of development and new initiatives for welfare and well-being of all classes of people have been put in place this last one year. My goal is to see these being implemented in the truest sense. This year will be another step forward in creating new opportunities for all to lead a happy, prosperous and secured life. The state government’s commitment to provide people friendly governance and take the state on the path of accelerated development with peace and communal harmony will continue with the same vigour,” Khandu asserted in his message on New Year eve.

“Let’s bury our differences, let’s forgive each other for our faults and drawbacks and let’s surge ahead as one unit – Team Arunachal. Wishing everybody a very happy and prosperous 2018!” he added.
