NEW DELHI, Jun 6:Governor BD Mishra who called on Union Minister for Human Resource Development, PrakashJavadekar on Tuesday in the national capital called for opening residential Kendriya Vidyalaya in four to five border districts in conjunction with Navodaya Vidyalaya for creating educational facility for children.

Emphasising on opening of these schools in the remote areas and higher reaches of Arunachal’s border districts, he also suggested for fast track planning and commissioning of these schools.
‘In addition to helping our school going children, the people living in these areas will also be benefited by the opening of these schools in great measures. This initiative will also help in the development of the area, generation of employment and livelihood,’ Mishra said.

The Union Minister for Human Resource Development appreciated the suggestion of the Governor and assured full support in this
regard. Javadekar promised to open these residential Kendriya Vidyalaya-cum-Navodaya Vidyalayas as early as possible.
On Mishra’s request for appointing Director for the NIT, Yupia and also a permanent Vice Chancellor for the Rajiv Gandhi University, Javadekar assured to complete the appointment process at an earlydate.

It was also emphasized by the Governor that the educational institutions both higher level and also Kendriya Vidyalayas and Navodaya Vidyalayas need special dispensation for Arunachal Pradesh.
Governor Mishra also met the Commissioner of Navodaya Vidyalaya and discussed many issues related to education in the state.
