ITANAGAR, Aug 26:

 

The President of Apatani Youth Association (AYA), Ziro, Taku Chatung called on the Governor of Arunachal Pradesh PB Acharya at Raj Bhavan today. He briefed the Governor about the activities of AYA, particularly on cleanliness drives and ‘Clean Kley River’ programme. Chatung also presented a documentary titled ‘Ray of Hope’ on cleanliness activities in Apatani plateau.

The Governor appreciated the Apatani Youth Association for its endeavour and exhorted them to continue the good work. He advised the AYA representatives to create awareness about Swachh Bharat Mission and motivate the people to adopt ‘Swachhta’ (cleanliness) as a way of life.

Taro Talo, member, AYA was also present in the meeting.
