AALO, Dec 8: The MLA Aalo East and Chairman APEDA, Jarkar Gamlin inaugurated the upgraded Dego secondary school amid fanfare today. 
Addressing the gathering, Gamlin lauded the effort of the school authority and SMC for bringing good result despite shortcomings as a new school. He exhorted the teaching community to keep up the good work of imparting quality education and advised students not to fall prey to vices that can ruin their life.

He disclosed that he has sorted many of the problems brought before him in the past and some more fund will be earmarked to the newly upgraded school and asked the school authority for a planned growth of infrastructure that may come up sooner or later.

Responding to memorandum pertaining to construction of RCC community Dere and PMGSY road connecting the village, he assured to do whatever is possible from his side.


West Siang Deputy Commissioner, Swetika Sachan laid emphasis on uniform growth of all schools in terms of infrastructure, teaching strengths and other facilities for overall growth of the schools in the district and asked the DDSE to finalise the name of the school in the list for smart classes in the second phase considering the good result and student strength of the school.

The headmaster of the school T Nyodu also dwelt elaborately on the progress and problems of the school.
West Siang DDSE, Tumto Lollen laid emphasis on parental role and care outside the school in bringing out good students for society
