ITANAGAR, Aug 24: Expressing solidarity with All Arunachal Pradesh Students’ Union (AAPSU) and other civil society bodies seeking rollback ofTibetan Rehabilitation Policy Act-2014, Green Arunachal Foundation (GAF) on Wednesday condemned the decision as immature and irresponsible on the part of the government.

GAF also condemned the state government for conferring APST status to a number of Tibetan refugees of Shyo village of Tawang district and urged to cancel all the benefits allowed to Tibetan refugees immediately. It also claimed that few refugees have been allotted land.

Why is the government neglecting other districts, which require urgent attention? it questioned.

Further, GAF appealed to all former AAPSU leaders who are in the state cabinet at present to act wisely and understand the crux of the refugee problem in the state and rollback the decision immediately.https://ssl.gstatic.com/ui/v1/icons/mail/images/cleardot.gif
