PASIGHAT, Jan 29:  The Government Higher Secondary School, Ruksin today celebrated its Golden Jubilee. On the same day, Donyi Polo Vidya Niketan, Pasighat also observed its 21^st Annual Day.

Both the celebrations at Ruksin and Pasighat were witnessed by Minister Education & Libraries Honchun Ngandam, who was accompanied by both the Pasighat MLAs, Er. Tatung Jamoh, Parliamentary Secretary for Agriculture & Fisheries and Kaling Moyong, Parliamentary Secretary for Disaster Management besides, President, State BJP, Tapir Gao among others.

 

While congratulating the GHSS Ruksin, Ngandam said that, our students rightfully deserve well equipped schools and infrastructure and the state government is advertising more than 1000 Science teachers post very soon in various categories to facilitate quality education.

He also assured the school of new teacher quarters while sanctioning teachers’ post which is yet to be sanctioned.

 

At DPVN, Ngandam advised students, parents and teachers to work jointly to develop the quality education. “A country’s foundation lies on its education system and everyone should ensure quality education of each student,” he added.

He also assured to help the school in getting a digital generator for power supply besides other requirements after receiving a memorandum submitted by SMC Chairman.
