ITANAGAR, Sep 2:

 

Expressing disappointment over delay in executing highway construction work from Potin to Bopi and land acquisition process, the All Lower Subansiri Trans-Arunachal Highway Land Affected Peoples Forum (ALSTAHLAPF) has announced a 12-hour Bandh Call on September 7 next in the affected areas.

 

The Forum is demanding early disbursement of compensation to the affected people as per the assessment done in the year 2014 and list of affected families, to avoid unwanted problem during the process of compensation disbursement in future

 

The decision was taken in a meeting held recently, wherein the house present also expressed resentment over non-maintenance of road from Potin to Bopi, despite fund made available by the government.

 

Milk van, Para-military, magistrate on duty, ambulance will be exempted from the purview of the Bandh Call, a release added.
