ITANAGAR, Nov 30:The Department of Education on Thursday has issued suspension order to three teachers for allegedly stripping 14 students naked and partly unclothing 74 students of Kasturba Gandhi Balikha Vidylaya (KGBV), Sagalee on November 27 last.

The suspended teachers were identified as one Nabam Janu(JT), Thinley Wangmu Thongdok(AT) and Sangeeta Khalkho (AT) serving with the (KGBV), Sagalee . 

The Department of Education has confirmed the suspension of the teachers in an official release today.

Meanwhile, the Secretary Education has asked DC, Yupia to thoroughly enquire into the incident and submit the report within one week. Besides, the State Project Director, SSA has also deputed two officials to inquire into the allegation and directed to submit the report within four days.

An FIR has also been filed at the Sagalee police station on November 27 last by a student union seeking action against the trio.
