SEPPA, Nov 9: Food & Civil Supply Department in collaboration with District Administration today formally launched the Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana (PMUY) here at Seppa in a simple but befitting manner.

A dozen female beneficiaries belonging from BPL category were distributed with free LPG connection during the inaugural event.

Launching the programme, EAC Pama Bagang congratulated the department and the proprietor of Kameng Gas Agency for the event and urged them to maintain complete transparency in identification of genuine beneficiaries under the scheme. He further requested them to go the extra mile in bringing the true benefits of the scheme at the doorsteps of all deserving.

Appreciating the central and state governments for such a noble initiative, EAC Bagang further assured to provide all possible assistance from the District Administration for fruitful implementation of the yojana.

DF&CSO Chuku Jirjo, ADI Nondo Doka, Proprietor (Kameng Gas Agency) Kaku Welly, govt. officials were also present at the event.
