NAHARLAGUN, Oct 23: Jain Charitable Society (JCS) run charitable homoeopathic dispensary (CHD),  near A-sector Jain temple here, would offer better services henceforth as decided in a meeting on Sunday.

As large number of patients belonging to poor and needy sections come daily to receive treatment from Dr UK Baruah for the last two years, it has been decided to make quality medicines available always, said JCS chairman Padam Jain.

The dispensary has been offering free treatment along with medicines under its humanitarian service, he said.

Moreover, other JCS activities on Sunday included  a Dipawali Milan for all Jains along with friends and well-wishers to assemble and hold discussion for future welfare activities.

Many members contributed voluntarily for the CHD which would be sufficient to manage its service for next one year, said JCS president Ganapatlal Jain, secretary Dillip Jain and cashier Vinod Jain, who have been managing the dispensary.
