PASIGHAT, Dec 2: 

 

In a formal program held at Berung village, some 10.8 KM from here on Friday, Kaling Moyong, Pasighat East MLA cum Parliamentary Secretary for Disaster Management inaugurated the Dibu foot suspension bridge.

 

Later a public meeting was held in the village community hall where MLA Moyong, DC Tamiyo Tatak interacted with the villagers and sought their active cooperation in taking the village towards development.

The foot suspension bridge was constructed and funded under SIDF 2016-17 for the convenience of the villagers which connect the village with the agricultural fields. On popular demand, Moyong has also agreed to sanction another bridge in the next financial year if possible.

Earlier, Chief Councilor, Kaling Doruk, Dr. Kaling Dai and Obit Tamuk also spoke about various activities related to sanitation and cleanliness of the village.
