KIMIN, Aug 20:Development of any community, state and country depends on development, up gradation of system of science and implementation of technology, said Science & Technology Chairman Bamang Mangha.

Mangha who was addressing the valedictory function of the two days awareness and communication programme on science and technology at Kimin, said that team of professors, officials of his department have been successfully organizing awareness programmes in various districts and appreciated their effort in making young students aware.

He said that human development is possible only if scientific approach and upgradation of scientific activities with technology is maintained in the digital world. ‘Now time has come that we need science for all knowledge and technology for work progress. All day to day activities were earlier done traditionally and with the help of manual labour but now we need technology with scientific way which would lead the nation in part of development,’ he said.

He also appreciated PM Modi for up-gradation of science and technology and also for Make in India campaign.

More than 500 students from VKV, KV, GHSS and scholars of science & technology took part in two dayawareness programme which concluded with prize distribution.

Various literary, painting, writing and technical session as well as power point presentation and documentary show and group discussion and other programme made the programme more informative and impressive to the students.
