ITANAGAR, Nov 27: Controller of Legal Metrology has cautioned  unidentified and unauthorized persons not to indulge in any kind of random checking , verification at trading premises ,failing which the department has threatened to take  legal and panel action.

In its press statement, the department claimed that some unauthorized persons are carrying out random check, verification at various shops and trading centers including petrol pumps in and around the capital complex. Further the department urged the business community to report such incidents
