DCM reviews hydropower projects to strengthen state energy roadmap
ITANAGAR, Dec 26:Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein met the victims of the devastating fire of Upper Niti Vihar on Monday at the temporary camp set-up in Bungalow 9. A total of 16 families totaling 70 people were affected by the massive blaze. He was accompanied by State BJP President Tapir Gao, former minister Nyato Rigia and State BJP Secretary Nich Doni.
Interacting with the victim families, the DCM empathized with them and assured help in their proper rehabilitation.
The DCM distributed relief and cash assistance among the victims. It is to be mentioned here that the DCM has been extending all necessary support and providing all the relief materials including the ration sortie to the fire victims.
The DCM has already instructed the Itanagar Capital Complex Deputy Commissioner to disburse the compensation and other relief materials following the codal formalities to the fire victims at the earliest.
