BOMDILA, Jul 18:The first quarter meeting of the District Level Monitoring Committee for West Kameng district for the year 2018-19 to review various projects under state and central sponsored schemes was held today at district headquarters Bomdila.

Underscoring the importance of timely completion of the projects with its targeted physical and financial achievements, Deputy Commissioner Dr. Sonal Swaroop directed the departments to inform her office beforehand in writing of disputed schemes, if any.

On the sidelines of the meeting, the DC directed the administrative officers and the HoDs present to discourage and deter donation collection or contribution drive in their respective circles and offices by various organizations or unions active in the state and promptly report such cases to the Police and district administration.

An executive order to this affect was also issued on July 13, prohibiting collection of fund and donation by any organization of bodies or association or persons in any form under the territorial jurisdiction of West Kameng.

Besides the HoDs, all administrative officers and former ZPMs attended the meeting.
