ROING, Aug 7: To review the progress of works made under various line departments the monthly coordination meeting was held here today, under the Chairmanship of Deputy Commissioner Lower Dibang Valley, Deepak Shinde. The meeting was attended by all Head of Departments of the district.

In his address, the DC stressed on proper monitoring and timely completion of all projects in the district. He also directed the departmental officials for black listing of all those contractors who are not complying with laid down norms and agreements of the works. Owing to the delayed in maintenance of various road works by RWD, he directed the EE RWD to expedite the progress and submit report on it.

In the meeting, issues on cleanliness drive of Roing Township and works done by i-clean Roing team was also displayed through power point presentation.

Various issues on celebration of Swacch week from August 9-15 next, construction of Girls hostel at Polytechnic college, Roing, issues related to distribution of LED Bulb by APEDA, finalization of beneficiary list under PMGY, status of NGNEREGA work at Hunli-Desali , power supply issues at Hunli sub-division, checking of unauthorized Taxies & Vehicles, issues related to GST & responsibilities of DDO’s, modalities on visit of administrative officers and HoDs to various schools  were also discussed in the meeting.
