NAMSAI, Aug 22:Deputy Commissioner cum DEO Namsai, RK Sharma while reviewing the pre-revision activities in respect of all 92 polling stations under Namsai district has directed all the ER and AEROs to ensure timely completion of all the activities in accordance with the directives of the Election Commission of India.

He also emphasized on uploading of control tables and data base in respect of Chowkam ,Namsai  and 48-Lekang (ST) Assembly Constituencies of the district.

Also recalling the poor EP ratio in some polling stations, Sharma called for error-free colour electoral roll and urged the concerned electoral registration officer to initiate the matter with utmost care.

Earlier the DC also attended a series of programs organized at various schools and colleges of the district on election and voters enrolment and held an interaction with staffers of Arunachal University of Studies, Namsai, wherein the DC  briefed about the provisions of transferring their EPICs from a different constituency anywhere from country.

Additional forms were also distributed in all the Institutes and they were asked to gear up the enrollment campaign with the help of Campus Ambassadors appointed by them.
