ITANAGAR, Sep 6:The Deputy Commissioner Itanagar Capital Complex, Prince Dhawan accompanied by officials from the District Administration including EAC Itanagar Jiken Bomjen, EAC (LM) Liken Koyu and EE PWD, Tana Nikam Tara today inspected the Pappu Nalah- Jollang – Chimpu road which is also a major district road, to oversee the ongoing work for the strengthening of pavement work which has started from Chimpu side.

Stressing that the road would also serve as an alternate road once the construction work for NH-415 from Chandranagar to Pappu Nallah starts, the DC directed the EE to expedite the pavement work and also to immediately start with the restoration of potholes and other repair works along the road wherever required. The inspection was carried out to ensure that works are going on in full swing to improve the condition of the road by March 2018.

Dhawan also visited ESS sector where the road towards Doordarshan colony is very narrow and enquired about the proposal for the construction of a Bailey bridge there. The DC has appealed citizens of the Capital Complex to cooperate with the District Administration while carrying out the restoration work.

Later, local MLA and Parliamentary Secretary, Techi Kaso also inspected the Jullang road at Ganga and took stock of the restoration work.
