YUPIA, Sep 5:One-day district level workshop on National Deworming Day (NDD) and review on IMI and RI micro plan was conducted by District Health Society (DHS) Papum Pare today under the Chairmanship of DC cum Chairman DHS, Tai Kaye.

In his keynote address to the participants comprising Medical Officer In -charge and health workers, Deputy Commissioner Tai Kaye lauded the services rendered by them in providing medical facilities to the people. He exhorted the officers to work with missionary zeal alongwith line departments to achieve the target set by the government in a more sincere and transparent manner.

He also emphasized on rationalization of distribution of medicines as per the requirements of the health facility and also stressed that medicine suppliers must strictly adhere to guidelines and such supply works must be awarded to authorized dealers only to maintain the authenticity of the medicines. 

DMO Dr.Tasso Kampu also stressed on effective implementation of NDD & IMI programme so that benefits reach the people at grassroots level. She requested all the MO In-Charges and line departments like Education and ICDS to coordinate with each other for successful implementation of the programme.

DRCHO Dr. J. Ado gave presentation on NDD and its achievements and Dr. Tage Taka SMO WHO gave presentation on Review on IMI and RI micro plan.
