ITANAGAR, Dec 17:

 

In order to put a stop to littering in Ganga Lake with a keen sense to boost the ideals of swachh bharat, the TIO-Cum- Member Secretary Ganga Lake Development Committee, Dalin Tana along with the staff and local youths of Baat Village built 30 bamboo baskets free of cost to promote cleanliness. The TIO informed that the dustbins are being evenly placed all around the lake vicinity and 20 more similar dustbins are being made.

The DC cum Chairman GLDC, Prince Dhawan has requested everyone to respect the effort and to keep the dustbin intact as it would help in maintaining the cleanliness of the area.

Moreover, it is a major tourist area in the Capital Complex and everyone should contribute their bit in maintaining the serenity of the area, the DC added.
