ITANAGAR, Oct 28:

 

As per the direction of CM Pema Khandu , Chief Secretary Satya Gopal in an emergent meeting reviewed the TAH Project from Gabu  to Bam, in view of the phase-wise  protests launched by Aalo Town Public Welfare and Development Society (ATPWDS).  

 

Divisional Commissioner (West)  Gamli Padu (IAS)  DGP Sandeep Goel (IPS), Secretary (Home) GS Meena (IAS), Director of TK Engineering, Techi Tara along with officials of TKE were present.

 

Taking serious cognisance of the situation, Chief Secretary formed a committee headed by Divisional Commissioner (West) and has instructed the committee to hold talks with the stakeholders to resolve the impasse. 

 

It is informed that the committee shall reach Aalo on October 29 and is likely to hold talks by late afternoon on Sunday itself. 

 

He stated that CM has instructed that public interests should not and cannot be ignored and any genuine issue raised should be resolved and addressed.
