ITANAGAR, Oct 4:All Arunachal Contractor’s Welfare Association (AACWA) in a release has appealed to the concern Ministers, Parliamentary Secretaries and MLAs not to pressurize the government departments to award works to their kith and kin and supporters.

It alleged that few are issuing note sheet to concerned departments to award works to their supporters and family members and stated that duty of lawmakers is to bring developmental funds against their Assembly constituency not to hamper the development process for their own benefit,

AACWA also urged Rural Works Department (RWD) for strict implementations of e-tendering policies in all kinds of tenders and appealed to the Commissioner RWD not to approve the works done through manual tender.
