ITANAGAR, Jan 24:Critical of the BJP’s claim, the Congress party today said that the self proclaimed development in Arunachal Pradesh in last one year under the BJP regime is totally false and an eye-wash.

The last one year under the Pema Khandu-led BJP government saw only hollow promises, false and tall claims. Performance mapping of the last one year demonstrates that this government is only about unrealistic promises instead of the promised ‘Acche Din’. All the developmental activities in Arunachal Pradesh came to a total halt, the Arunachal Pradesh Congress Committee said in a release today.

It further cited slow progress of TAH, law & order problem since last one year with cases of murder, theft etc increasing day-by-day especially in Capital Complex and its adjoining areas as matter of concern.

In terms of good governance and long term policy for the people, Pema government has not yet brought in any development and welfare of the people of this state so far. Therefore, it would be too early for his government to “gunn gaan in terms of development”, the APCC said.

The step taken by Pema government to fight corruption is a welcome step, but at first, his own Council of Ministers and MLAs should clean up themselves before cleaning the corruption in the State, it further added.
