ITANAGAR, Aug 25:After witnessing a spike in illegal migrants in the capital complex, the capital administration constituted two teams to carryout eviction, submitted their report to the DC today informing about the ‘complete eviction’.

Earlier, Deputy Commissioner Itanagar Capital Complex, Prince Dhawan  has directed the Circle Officer Itanagar, Dr. Heera Panggeng and Circle Officer Naharlagun, Moyir Kato to take necessary action against illegal hawkers seen roaming  in the capital complex. 

Both teams alongwith Police carried regular patrolling of the areas where there was possibility of their camping and  submitted their report to the DC regarding their complete eviction from the Capital Complex today.

The DC also carried an inspection of all the possible locations to ensure their complete ouster. The DC further stressed that the District Administration has zero tolerance against such illegal migrants and it is the priority of DA to maintain law and order at any cost.

He has also directed the EAC and OC, PS Banderdewa to keep strict vigil with regard to the entry and exit of such illegal hawkers, beggars, migrants etc in near future.

A team of SUMAA led by its convenor Tarh Rekam also visited the office of the DC today with regard to the issue of illegal migrants. The team informed that they are also working on such issues at their own level and assured cooperation from their side. They also thanked the DC for the prompt action taken by the DA.
