PASIGHAT, Oct 22:  The weeklong 17th Annual College Week of College of Horticulture and Forestry, Central Agricultural University, Pasighat which started on October 13 concluded on October 18 last and was graced by Prof. Tamo Mibang, Vice-Chancellor of Rajiv Gandhi University Itanagar graced the occasion as Chief Guest.

While giving away the prizes to all the winners in sports, cultural, literary and fine arts competitions, Mibang asked the students to put in every effort for their better learning in order to serve society afterwards. He also exhorted the young minds to burn themselves for better development of their personality and informed that, it is a matter of worry for the country that not a single Indian university ranks in the top 200 at global level.   

While attending as Guest of Honour, John Neihlaia, IPS, Deputy Inspector General (DIG), Central Zone, Pasighat appealed the student community to help the law enforcing agency.

Dr YR Darang, Medical Superintendent, Bakin Pertin General Hospital Pasighat requested the students to take up yoga in their daily life for balance of body and mind. She also thanked the CHF Pasighat for conducting voluntary blood donation camps on various occasions for helping the blood bank of   General Hospital Pasighat.

Earlier, Dr AK Pandey, Dean, CHF, Pasighat welcomed all the dignitaries and congratulated the winners.
