ITANAGAR, Oct 13:Public leader, 8-Bameng Assembly Constituency, Vijay Sonam has requested the Chief Electoral Officer not to conduct hearing for electoral revision of Lada and Khenewa at Bamang ADC headquarters citing electorates have to face huge inconveniences travelling to Bameng due to absence of a proper road connectivity.
Sonam, disclosed that villagers have to travel at least 1 to 2 days on foot to take part in the preliminary process of election related works like form submission for inclusion of their names in electoral rolls including public hearing related to claims & objections.
He requested the CEO to conduct the publication of draft/e-rolls, inclusion of names, claims & objections etc, to be carried out at respective circle headquarters at Lada and Khnewa for the interest and conveniences of electorates.
