Interacting with media persons, Ansari said that the Modi led BJP government has been working with a strong development-oriented will power for socio-economic development of the backwards, downtrodden, poor in the Northeast region and country as a whole.

Narrating various measures taken by the BJP-led NDA government at the Centre for the overall development of minorities, Ansari pointed out that development fund sanctioned by the Centre should be used with transparency and for the greater interest of minorities.
